Working within the credit risk analytical department at UBS, I used UX and visual design to create a mobile app from scratch for internal usage in UBS investment bank.
Approach: user-centric, empathising with specific users to extract their needs and pain points, then creating ideas and prototypes to solve their issues smartly.
Team: 1x UX designer, 1x UX visual designer, 3x front-end developers, 1x Scrum master, 1x business analyst. Contracted on behalf of Norman and Sons, a digital transformation consultancy specialising in human-centred design.
It's impossible to design a high-quality product without analysing previous releases and doing in-depth design research.
Analyse key points from sessions with key stakeholders and target users. Prioritise deliverables for future releases.
Prototyping is a crucial part of the design process. I used rapid prototyping to get quick feedback from stakeholders and target users on proposed design solutions. Following this approach, I could incorporate changes instantly and reduce the number of future iterations.
Iterate and present back amended, more sophisticated designs. Each iteration turned low-fidelity mockups into more thoughtful and holistic design products.
Unify design patterns, finalise the design system, prepare screens to be used by the development and further support team.
